Howlett follows in team mate Hayden Ballantyne's footsteps by becoming the second mature aged player to make an AFL list from Peel Thunder in 2 years.
Ben made his League debut in Round 13 of the 2006 WAFL season against East Fremantle and from 2007 onward has only missed a single game. 2009 was his stand-out season where he convincingly won the Tuckey Medal (Best & Fairest) and was labelled a "ready-made AFL footballer" by coaches and recruiters alike.
Peel Thunder wishes Ben all the best for his AFL career.
