Round 10 - PT v WP - Q & A with Cam Shepherd

Tuesday, June 12, 2018 - 9:51 PM

PT 11.11  77   d     WP 11.8   74

Really wonderful result for the club. Hard fought and a credit to the 22 who took the field against a mature ,well drilled outfit in West Perth.

What we liked?

The performance of our leaders in Ben Howlett, Danyle Pearce, Michael Johnson and Gerald Ugle.

The continued development of Alex Cohen, Keegan Power, Brad McGowan and Lloyd Meek.

The hardness of Blair Bell, Cameron Sutcliffe, Ben Hancock and Cameron McCarthy.

Special mention to Jordan Boullineau who played with maturity and strength.

What could we be better at?

We were well ahead (29pts) with about 10 minutes to play, we needed to play with a bit more poise, control and defend at bit better - thus not giving the opposition a sniff.

What are we looking forward to?

A good week at training and then onto Fremantle to play South Fremantle.

Followed by a week off, with a bye before we reload for the backend of the season with every game important.
