WITH Perth breaking through for a first win of 2023, a host of Demons players put up their hands for a spot in the WAFL Team of the Week for Round 5 while wins for Claremont, Subiaco, West Perth and Peel Thunder also meant there were no shortage of standout performers.

Round 7 saw the WAFLW take on Subiaco at Lane Group stadium. With the state 16’s and 18’s girls away it allowed opportunities for Tessa Kongras, Holly Bilcich and Anna Watts to make their league debuts.

In Round 3 Peel Thunder travelled up the road to take on South Fremantle at Community Bank Oval. Excitingly the club had it’s 12th debutant of the season with Liam Reidy coming into the side for his first appearance of the year.
