LEAGUE REPORT WITH COACH CAM SHEPHERD

We played our last practice match before the real season starts last Saturday.

The game was played in good spirit between the two clubs and we were pleased to be able to work on many aspects of our game in preparation for the coming weeks.

It helped immensely that we got off to a flyer in the first quarter and were able to continue the effort throughout the game.

Great individual performances came from Hugh Dixon (6 goals) and Michael Apeness (10 marks) with solid contributions from the rest of the 23.

We are not getting carried away with our pre season form (which has been strong), and our focus is bringing our best this week against EF on Good Friday.

Every club in the WAFL will be looking for a win in game one so we know that the challenge is in front of us.

We look forward to all of Peel's supporters coming down to Bendigo Bank Stadium and supporting the boys.
