Round 9 - League match report with Cam Shepherd

PT 10.5 defeated Cl 7.12

In a tough and bruising game, with the season on the line for both clubs Peel were in front all day, and despite being challenged fiercely in Q4 we managed to kick some critical goals and get the important win.

Peel had made 11 changes to the team, the most in my memory and to the credit of all players the team combined efficiently.

Better players on the day included Brandon Matera, Ben Howlett, Michael Johnson, Blair Bell, Ryan Nyhuis and Jordan Boullineau.

Alex Cohen played really well in his first league game capped off with 2 goals and it was great to have Haydn Ballantyne playing for his old club.

Good returns also from Keegan Power and Brad McGowan in their first games for the season.

We know look forward to the big game this week v WP.
