Peel Thunder Football Club welcomes local business Swell Fine Food Catering.

The Peel Thunder Football Club (PTFC) is excited to announce a new catering partnership with local business, Swell Fine Food Catering commencing 1 November 2021.

In what is an important component of the Club’s position in the function and events market, this partnership is viewed as an opportunity for both organisations to build the most exclusive function experience in the Region.

Daniel Muller from Swell Fine Food said he’s looking forward to working with the PTFC in providing fresh local produce to a variety of events held at the Club.

“As a local business, using predominantly local fresh produce, there are synergies with the Peel Thunder Football Club in building a stronger community,” Muller said. 

“We are excited to partner with Peel Thunder and utilise their fantastic facilities to create a mutual benefit to us both,” he added.

The Club plays host to a large number of events and functions across the year playing an important piece of the overall operating model of the PTFC.

There are various function spaces available for hire within the Club to facilitate large scale corporate events and private functions, including the Platinum Room which can host up to 380-guests.

Paul Lekias, Peel Thunder Football Club CEO said he’s excited to welcome Daniel and Swell Fine Food to the club and thanked outgoing caterers Impressions Catering for their service and commitment to the club over the last two-years.

“We are looking forward to what Swell Fine Food can bring and Daniel’s enthusiasm for providing a first-class service should satisfy a lot of our members and the wider community,” Lekias said. 

“For the past two-years, we have partnered with Impressions Catering and we are extremely grateful to them for their commitment in assisting the Club in a tough environment.  The threat of COVID and event cancellations has not been easy, but Lukarla and her team have been outstanding in ensuring their standards were at the highest level.”

With a number of events already booked in for the remainder of 2021, work has begun to ensure a smooth transition and the continuation of the high-level service to the Club’s customers.
