WITH just three weeks of the 2022 WAFLW home and away season remaining, Subiaco moved closer towards snatching a finals position with another big win in Round 14 while Peel Thunder beat Swan Districts, and East Fremantle and Claremont kept on winning.

Round 14 of the WAFLW season got underway on Saturday at Mandurah's Lane Group Stadium with Peel Thunder winning to consolidate third position by beating the fourth placed Swan Districts 7.12 (54) to 1.3 (9).

Kate Bartlett kicked another three goals for Peel while Sabreena Duffy and Ebony Dowson had 18 disposals apiece. Abbygail Bushby gathered 21 touches for Swan Districts.

The other two matches took place on Sunday with Claremont proving too good for South Fremantle to all but lock up a top two position with the 13.13 (91) to 1.3 (9) win at Claremont's Revo Fitness Stadium.

Tessa Doumanis, Brooke Whyte and Tayla Thorogood all kicked three goals for Claremont while Kahra Sprylan finished with 12 possessions, 13 tackles and a goal for South Fremantle.

Subiaco then inched closer towards a finals position by beating West Perth 6.6 (42) to 1.1 (7) at Leederville Oval.

Hanna Dethlefsen kicked three goals for Subiaco and Jayme Harken racked up 33 disposals with Tarnica Golisano finishing with 29 touches and 15 tackles. Kaitlyn Roper finished with 20 possessions and eight tackles for West Perth.

Following 14 rounds of the 2022 WAFLW season, East Fremantle remains undefeated with a perfect 11-0 record to be clear on top of the ladder.

Claremont is also further clear in second position with a 9-2 record while Peel Thunder (6-5) stays in third spot and Swan Districts (5-7) is fourth.

Subiaco (5-6) is now just less than one percentage point outside of the top four ahead of South Fremantle (4-8) and West Perth (0-12).

The lone game in the WAFLW Reserves competition in Round 14 saw Swan Districts defeat Peel Thunder 6.9 (45) to 1.5 (11) at Mandurah's Lane Group Stadium.

Meanwhile in the Youth Girls Rogers Cup, the Round 14 action saw Peel Thunder beat Swan Districts 10.3 (63) to 9.6 (60) at Lane Group Stadium on Saturday.

Then on Sunday, South Fremantle defeated Claremont 8.10 (58) to 4.11 (35) at Revo Fitness Stadium, East Fremantle beat East Perth 10.13 (73) to 2.3 (15) at New Choice Homes Park, and Subiaco downed West Perth 5.1 (31) to 4.6 (30) at Leederville Oval.
