2023 WAFLW Captain

We are very pleased to announce Ebony (Chippy) Dowson as the WAFLW Captain for season 2023 as voted by her peers.

Chippy is an outstanding choice having played over 145 games for the club, she's a dual premiership player and our reigning Fenton Medallist. What sets her apart is her attitude and preparation for training and games, and her ability to get the best out of herself and her teammates.

Chippy has been a leader at the club for a long period of time as well as an assistant coach to the Rogers cup side that made the Grand Final last year. Her development and encouragement of younger players is another one of her great strengths.

We look forward to Chippy's leadership on and off the field in 2023.
