Luen's Renewin'

Another local product originally from the South West and then to Secret Harbour, Luen Colton, has re-committed to Peel Thunder for Season 2025.

Respected internally for his selfless ability to play his role and do whatever is required for the team, Luen made his debut in Round 1 this year, which turned out to be the first of 9 League games.

With League footy now under his belt, Luen is now firmly looking forward to what’s ahead – “The re-signing is exciting, and I have loved the past couple years here because of the culture and all the people involved in peel and it’s such a great thing to be apart and can’t wait to be one of the best clubs in the wafl. The club means everything to me, they have given me my first and the best opportunity to play at high level of footy. 

As for 2025, Luen spoke about what he’s looking forward to. “Personal goals for me is to be the best version of myself on and off the field and to play at a high standard of footy for as long as I can.”

Peel Thunder Football Club CEO, Paul Lekias, proudly commented on the news Luen has re-committed to the Club - “Luen is another one of our local products that took a huge step in his development in 2024, playing regular League football and key part of our push through the Finals campaign.
