Jonno also has a mature pallet for a quality glass of red!”
Upon re-signing, Jonno what the club means to him, why he has re-signed and his goals moving forward.
“The club means a lot to me! I have been at around the footy club for 7 years now, going all the way back to where I started my journey in the 16s (futures) program in 2018. I have met a great group of people, from the families, coaches, support staff, and the board who have given me a great deal of support over my journey. The club has a great sense of community and belonging which makes it an enjoyable place to be around. I am very grateful for the amount of work and support that everyone gives to our footy club.
The culture that we have created down at Peel has been an enjoyable experience. Being able to build our alignment with Fremantle has been a success and a credit to everyone who works at both clubs, and it has shown to stand up on and off the field. I look forward to being able work with some of the younger boys coming through the system, and show that hard work and resilience pays off, not only on the field but off the field as well. I can’t wait to get back out there with these boys and chase the ultimate goal of winning another premiership. I think that the club has built a strong program that will continue to improve and will give us every chance to win another one.
I want to continue to grow in leadership and continue to drive the standards at our the footy club and support the younger talent coming through to become the best versions that they can be. I believe that the connection that we have built between Peel and Fremantle will put us in good stead to be successful once again to chase another cup. “
