Jacob Blight Departing Peel
Following his recent time at Richmond, Jacob Blight will not be returning to Peel Thunder in 2026, relocating and living north of Perth for lifestyle and career opportunities.
Coming to Peel from Claremont at the end of 2022, Jacob went on to play 29 League games for us across the 2023 and 2024 seasons. In his time here, Jacob was voted into the leadership group, assisted our talent academy as a coach and was drafted to Richmond in the 2024 mid-season draft.
We thank Blighty for the short but significant contribution he made to Peel Thunder, he certainly departs with strong relationships across the entire Club and great memories in teal colours.
