2021 WAFLW Fixture Announced

The 2021 Optus WAFLW Fixture was revealed this morning with a fifteen round season starting on February 20th.

Each team will play each other three times in a return to a normalised fixture after the shortened 2020 Season.

Peel Thunder club legend and 2008 Sandover Medallist Hayden Ballantyne has retired after a 15-year Senior Football career. 

Ballantyne, originally from Baldivis Junior Football Club, informed the playing group of his decision before the squad broke for Christmas break, with his body unable to hold up for another season of WAFL footy.

Changeroom refresh thanks to Signcraft

Thanks to club sponsor Signcraft and with the help of club volunteers and staff there were a few cosmetic changes that greeted the players when they came back to start pre-season. 

The door leaving the changerooms has been wrapped in club colours and features a striking club logo and images of a parochial Peel Thunder crowd, readying the players before taking the field.
