Roz & Dave Cameron received their Peel Thunder Football Club inaugural Life Membership medals from Club President Mr John Ditchburn on 6 December 2013. These medals were awarded for their dedication and commitment to the Club.
Whilst Dave has not enjoyed the best of health over recent months, we are happy to report that following surgery last Tuesday at Charles Gardiner Hospital, Dave is now on the long road to recovery.

Peel Thunder have announced their revised squad for their colts program for 2014. We would like to thank all players who have been involved for their commitment and dedication to the training sessions. 2014 Australia Post AFL Community Camps
The Australia Post AFL Community Camps will see more than 800 AFL players take the game to regional and rural communities across Australia, with the Fremantle Dockers visiting to Pinjarra, Harvey and Collie on Thursday the 6th and Friday the 7th of February.

In exciting news for the Peel Thunder Development Program, three players have been selected in the Western Australian State Academy first intake squads for the 2014 season.
Colts players Brad Walsh and Dylan Winton have been selected in the first intake for the Under 18s squad, while Noah Hura was rewarded for his excellent Under 15s development carnival with selection in the Under 16s squad.

Peel Thunder Football Club Senior training commenced on Wednesday 6 November 2013. Numbers for training have been good and more importantly the group has obviously done plenty of work in the off season with most presenting in extremely fit condition.
Our standardised testing results have seen some great results, especially when compared with last November.

Backman James Flaherty has signed a new 1-year deal, keeping him at Bendigo Bank Stadium until the end of the 2014 season.
He joins Marlon Motlop, Jarrhan Jacky, James Hawksley, Paul Bower, Kristin Thornton and Cruize Garlett who have all committed to the Peel Thunder Football Club for season 2014 which will see some major changes with the full alignment coming into affect in season 2014.

2013 Tuckey Medal Winner is Now a Melbourne Demon
