Two more Premiership Stars to return in 2021

Add another two Premiership players to the growing list of re-signed players as Ben Hancock and Brayden Lawler have both committed for 2021.

The duo became just the 10^th and 11^th players to play 100 games for the club, doing it in consecutive weeks no less, with Hancock bringing up the tonne in Round 3 against West Perth and Lawler a week later against Claremont.

Hancock a local player from Warnbro, made his senior debut in 2014 after graduating from the Colts program. A utility player, he has been used in a number of different positions over the journey, most regularly as a 2^nd or 3^rd tall defender. Unlucky to miss out on the Premiership in 2016 after playing 16 games that season, he fought hard in 2017 playing every game and was cemented his spot in the side that went back to back. 

Lawler recruited out of Carey Park in the South West Football League at the end of 2014, has been a mainstay in the Thunder lineup, playing in at least 18 games in 4 of his first 5 seasons and every game in the shortened 2020. A dual Premiership player, Lawler like Hancock has been used in a number of different roles in his 6 seasons at the club, most notably as a pressure forward capable of kicking goals and laying tackles especially on the big occasion, with 10 tackles in each of his last 3 finals, 2 of them Grand Finals. 

Both players are highly valued and will continue to be vital components for a young developing side that hopes to move up the ranks and improve its win loss record in 2021.
