Peel Thunder have capped of their season with a win following a nail-biting three-point victory over Perth on Saturday.

After a disappointing ending last week, Peel finished strong against the Demons, kicking three goals to two in the final term, clinging on to a 12.12 (84) to 12.9 (81) victory.

Peel Thunder’s finals hopes are over after suffering a devastating four-point loss to Swan Districts at Steel Blue Oval.

The Thunder were on top all day until the Swans held them goalless in the final term to get over the line 7.6 (48) to Peel’s 6.8 (44). 

Thunder coach Cameron Shepherd said it was a sombre mood in the rooms after the game.

Peel Thunder’s finals hopes are in jeopardy after losing to South Fremantle by 40-points at Fremantle Community Bank Oval. 

The Bulldogs kicked the first six goals of the game to run away winners 11.16 (82) to 6.6 (42).
