John and Audrey moved to Falcon in 1997 and it didn’t take him and his wife long to get involved with his friends, Ron & Margaret Howarth, in the then Mandurah Football and Sporting Club.

Viv Michie has edged out retiring Captain Brendon Jones to win the prestigious Dudley Tuckey Medal the League's Best & Fairest on Saturday night at the Peel Thunder Football Club. In the Reserves Corey Morris won the Ball Family Medal with 96 votes ahead of Liam McKenna on 74 votes. The Colts Ben Hancock won the BHP Billiton Medal on 133 votes ahead of Brad Walsh on 68 votes.

BHP Billiton Medal Report

The BHP Billiton Medal for the Peel Thunder Colts Fairest and Best was held on Tuesday 3 September in the Platinum Room at the Peel Thunder Football Club. In front of a good crowd, 17 year old defender Ben Hancock was a run-away winner of the Medal on 133 votes, from Brad Walsh on 68 votes and Russell Shore on 59 votes.

The Peel Junior finals are heating up this weekend with the Plate Grand Finals being played this Saturday at Rushton Park North.
