“Talk to a Mate” During Think Mental Health Round

Football clubs across the state are being encouraged to support a range of activities during the ‘Think Mental Health' Round. 

The WA Football Commission has joined forces with Healthway to improve mental health and wellbeing within clubs, with the project culminating in the Think Mental Health Round on July 23-24.

THERE were big wins for Claremont, East Fremantle, East Perth, Peel Thunder and South Fremantle in Round 13 WAFL action on Saturday and once again competition for spots in the Team of the Week was hot.

EAST Fremantle and South Fremantle had crucial Round 13 WAFL wins to set up a blockbuster clash this coming Saturday while Claremont hit back and Peel Thunder and East Perth both won to keep themselves in the finals hunt.

NAIDOC Round in the WAFL might have been greeted by some unpleasant weather, but it didn’t stop plenty of players putting themselves in contention for spots in the WAFL Team of the Week once again.

TOUGH conditions greeted the WAFL clubs for NAIDOC Round action on Saturday afternoon with eventual victories for Swan Districts, East Fremantle, South Fremantle, West Perth and East Perth.
