PEEL Thunder’s season has ended in disappointing fashion, losing to South Fremantle by 30 points at Fremantle Oval on Saturday.

The visitors sprung out of the blocks in the first term and held a 24-point lead at the first break, with the midfield controlling proceedings led by Brendon Jones.

Over the last 6 weeks, over 200 boys have trialled for selection in the Peel Thunder Development Squads for 2014. All boys who have trialled are to be commended for their application, professionalism and dedication towards improving their football. The second lot of Peel Thunder Development Squad trial matches will be held this Sunday 31/8/2014 at Rushton North reserve. 

Game times are as follows

9:00am- Under 15 late

11:00am- Under 15 early

1:00pm- Under 14 late

Royals dominate disappointing Thunder

A GOALLESS first half and a raft of missed opportunities early has condemned Peel to their worst loss of the season, going down by 66 points to ladder leaders East Perth at Bendigo Bank Stadium on Saturday.

Both sides struggled to impact the scoreboard early, but the class of the Royals was telling, overcoming inaccuracy to secure a 14.21 (105) to 5.9 (39) win.

Peel Thunder Football Club President Mr John Ditchburn today announced that Mr Cam Shepherd will continue as the Club’s Senior’s Coach of its League team for season 2015.
