Peel Thunder Football Club President Mr John Ditchburn today announced that Mr Cam Shepherd will continue as the Club’s Senior’s Coach of its League team for season 2015.
Mr Ditchburn stated that the Peel Thunder Football Club Board of Directors unanimously endorsed Mr Shepherd’s renewal for 2015. The Fremantle Dockers also endorsed his appointment for the following season. Read More [+]

YOUNG Peel duo Dylan Winton and Brad Walsh have been invited to the WA State Draft Combine, as they look to secure a spot on an AFL list at this year’s National Draft.
Both Walsh and Winton represented Western Australia at the NAB Under 18s National Championships last month, with Walsh captaining the side and Winton a member of the leadership group.

Record-breaking Thunder crush Perth
PEEL Thunder has strung together its most clinical performance of the season, crushing Perth by 65 points at Lathlain Park on Saturday.
It was the club’s first away win since Round 17 2012, and it marked the first time that the Thunder has scored over 100 in 37 games, while also lifting the club off the bottom of the ladder.

Sharks outrun young Thunder
EAST Fremantle have outlasted a plucky Peel Thunder side to cement its place in the top four following a 24-point win at East Fremantle Oval on Saturday.
Despite being rank outsiders, the Thunder took the fight up to the Sharks, resulting in a tight tussle for the majority of the game.
Trailing by two points at halftime, the visitors sniffed an upset in the third quarter, slamming on three goals to sneak out to a handy lead.

The Peel Football Club will be kicking goals for access and inclusion at their Round 21 home game on Saturday, 16 August to show their support for a more inclusive and accessible community.
The Count Me In round has been developed through a partnership between the Disability Services Commission, the WA Football Commission and the Department of Sport and Recreation.

THREE of Peel’s brightest stars have proven themselves as part of the next crop of AFL stars, following the completion of the NAB Under 18s National Championships earlier this month.
Rockingham product Brad Walsh, Halls Head defender Dylan Winton and Warnbro youngster Ben Hancock all represented Western Australia at the carnival, with Walsh captaining the side.
