Jetta’s seven steers Peel to historic finals berth

A SEVEN-goal haul from forward Leroy Jetta has helped Peel Thunder secure a prized finals double chance, following a comfortable 39-point win over South Fremantle at Bendigo Bank Stadium on Saturday.
It was a scrappy affair early, but Peel simply had too much class for the Bulldogs, who bid farewell to retiring stalwart Craig White after 192 games.

Peel Thunder has jumped back into third spot on the WAFL ladder with a gutsy 13-point win over Perth at Lathlain Park on Saturday.
Despite playing the second half with only two fit men on the bench, the Thunder showed tremendous character to grind out a 14.16 (100) to 13.9 (87) win.
