COLTS COACH NAMED FOR 2017/2018 SEASONS

The Peel Thunder Football Club is pleased to announce that Craig Otto has been appointed as head coach of the Colts squad for the 2017 and 2018 seasons.

 

Otto has an extensive history in both the Peel Football League and with the Peel Thunder Football Club, having played 170 games for the Rockingham Rams, and being a member of the inaugural Peel Cavaliers side in 1996.

JAKEB SHINE TAKES OUT COLTS DAVID CAMERON MEMORIAL MEDAL - 15 SEPTEMBER 2016

In a great night for the Peel Thunder Colts program, Jakeb Shine has taken out the inaugural David Cameron Memorial Medal for the fairest and best player in the Peel Thunder Colts side for 2016.

 

In a tight finish, Shine polled 4 votes against Claremont in the last game to finish on 105 votes, with Jack Clarke Medallist Michael Humble polling 10 votes to finish on 99 votes and in second place.

Peel broke their poor run of recent results with a gutsy victory over East Fremantle at ATOM stadium on Saturday.

The Thunder was the dominant side in the wet conditions and climbed back into the top five at the expense of the Sharks with a 10.9 (69) to 3.8 (26) victory.
