Peel Youngster Sets New Mark at National Combine

Rockingham teenager and Peel Thunder Colt, Joshua Schoenfeld was one of just seven players selected to attend this year’s NAB AFL National Combine in Melbourne ahead of the 2015 Draft.

On Sunday, Schoenfeld set a new mark for the 3km time trial, finishing in 9min. 15sec. It was the 18-year-old’s personal best and beat the record of 9.17 set last year by Jack Hiscox, who was then drafted by Sydney.

A SEVEN-goal haul from forward Leroy Jetta has helped Peel Thunder secure a prized finals double chance, following a comfortable 39-point win over South Fremantle at Bendigo Bank Stadium on Saturday.
