ROUND 10 - SENIOR DEVELOPMENT MATCH REPORT

Tuesday, May 23, 2017 - 2:50 PM

After a disappointing fortnight, where the Peel Development side suffered 2 heavy defeats, the team made their way to Lathlain Park to take on Perth.

It was a fairly even first quarter where Peel enjoyed the run of play for the first 10 minutes but couldn’t convert it on the scoreboard. The Peel Thunder Development side headed into the game against Swan Districts keen to atone for a disappointing performance the week before.

Michael Humble and Calvin Thorne were rewarded for a string of solid performances with promotion to the League side. Through injury and illness, there were 9 changes to the team that ran out against Claremont. This provided opportunity to some players that had had limited exposure to the level and included 1st gamers Jackson Capurso, Reece Dillon and Ash Humphreys. All 3 had some positive moments with Reece and Ash building into the game to be solid contributors.
